Downhill with a Tailwind

This is what everyone has been talking about since I joined the trip. Well they were right--78 miles in 6 1/2 hours and a lot of fun, no traffic smooth roads, from Bisbee Az to Rodeo NM. Couldn't have been nicer. Tomorrow we do 97 miles into Columbus, NM, and I am praying for a tailwind as I know thee is no downhill. One of the guys who did this ride last year said they had a 25 mph tailwind and did 95 miles in 4 hours. I hope we have the same conditions. It seems that the traditions include riding 100 if u get as far as 94. Then u can say u did a century. We are sleeping indoors tonight in a a metal corrugated bldg that supposedly has heat. I am hopeful. I will take a snap and post it tomorrow as we have no service here .
